The Brief
Lululemon approached NXT Interactive with a clear objective: to create a captivating pre-marathon activation that would engage participants and fans directly with the brand. The challenge was to design an interactive, memorable experience that would allow attendees to express themselves creatively, while staying true to Lululemon’s signature style and brand aesthetics.
The client wanted something beyond conventional branding—they needed an experience that was both personal and shareable, giving participants a tangible takeaway that they could take home or display proudly. The solution had to merge creativity, technology, and the tactile joy of physical prints, all within a smooth and user-friendly setup suitable for an event environment.
Our Solution
NXT Interactive designed a fully interactive poster creation experience that combined digital creativity, intuitive UI, and physical print output. We created a platform where attendees could design their own posters in Lululemon’s brand style, add personalized messages, and print them in high-quality A3 format, giving them a unique memento to remember the event.
The experience empowered users to become active participants in a creative brand interaction rather than passive observers. By providing a mix of digital tools and physical outputs, we bridged the gap between experiential engagement and tangible takeaway, creating a truly memorable pre-marathon experience.
Event Setup
The setup was designed for efficiency, mobility, and attendee convenience, featuring:
22’’–33’’ touchscreen displays for interactive poster design
High-performance laptop to run the design software and manage print outputs
Professional-grade printer with photopaper and high-quality inks for premium poster prints
On-site support team for setup, troubleshooting, and attendee guidance
The setup was modular and scalable, allowing for multiple stations to operate simultaneously at high-traffic events, minimizing wait times while maximizing engagement.
Outcome
The Design Your Poster experience successfully transformed a standard brand activation into a memorable, hands-on creative interaction. Participants left the experience with personalized A3 posters that celebrated their individuality, reinforced Lululemon’s brand presence, and created shareable moments for social media.
By combining interactive technology, creative freedom, and tangible outputs, the activation enhanced participant engagement and delivered a highly immersive pre-marathon experience that left a lasting impression.
